Grupo Molduras counts with a complete and state-of-the-art plant for the treatment of wood in autoclave in its facilities..

In such plant we can do, among others, some treatments for: the preservation of structural wood for outdoor and indoor use, wood to be in contact with earth or water (group of risk level IV), particularly for the wood used in horticulture or gardening, posts, fences, stockades, supports for vineyards trees, children’s playgrounds and wooden floor tiles.

The treatments take place in an industrial autoclave that permits to reach pressures till 16 kg/cm2, guarantying a complete penetration of the chemical compound inside the wood.

Moreover, Grupo Molduras, according to its environment policy, uses a preservation product free of arsenic and chrome, registered under the Ministry of Health and Consumption regulations. Thus, Grupo Molduras avoids the utilization of any substances that might result in a danger or threat for the environment.

That product is based on inorganic copper and boron components, as well as organic active ingredients, providing a great efficiency in the prevention against the fungus that damages the wood, including those responsible for the rottenness, and against insects too. After fixing the product into the wood, it is difficult to eliminate.
